Updating Wash

I think the best way to encourage purchase of the top wash is with a pricing structure that shows it is the best value. Figure out your bottom and top price and structure the menu in a similar way:

Example if you want a span of $12- $22

Wash and dry - $12

Add tire/wheel cleaner and under spray - $16

Add trifoam and rain repel - $20

Add premium ceramic, graphene etc. - $22

my thought is that ceramic is widely recognized by the customer. it has gained traction in the marketplace through broad distribution at wal mart, national parts stores and youtube video topics. graphene is not like this. it may be a "next level" sealant/protectant, but the customer is not aware what it is or how it works. the brand recognition is just not there yet, imo. that will be a challenge for the carwash operator.

So my idea is to give it a unique name for my wash packages. If it works better, the customer will notice. And when the next new sealant comes along, I can keep my unique-to-me name and roll along that way.

Make the lower washes less appear less appealing. I am not a believer in having dry on the cheapest wash, but I appear to be in the minority. Change the description of your lowest wash to "Basic wash". You don't have to tell them the dryer is included.

We buy simoniz which labels it as Carbonite. Our wash is space themed so were going to try to play in to Han solo from starwars since that it what they froze him in the movies. It was called carbonite.
