Unitec WSII display discolorization or water?

I have a Unitec Wash Select II. The 4 wash package LCD displays appear to have some discoloration. However, only part of the displays are affected. On each display there is a green portion that appears normal and then there is darker areas. It almost seems like water between two sheets of glass. Is there any fix for this other than replacing the displays? I was thinking maybe I could take apart the displays and clean out what ever is causing this. The back lighting appears to be fine and the LCD message segments all work. It just seems unsightly.

Please contact our Technical Support department at your earliest convenience. They will assist you with troubleshooting your LCD displays to determine the problem.
