Is anyone running one of Ultimate Door’s MC2 motor controllers for their car wash doors? Since they’ve gone out of business I’ve had two of our four controllers go bad. I’m looking for someone that might have a controller they would like to sell.
Their design is awful and if you are running one of these it’s a matter of time before they melt themselves. I strongly suggest you make some modifications to protect the controller.
Also, if you are using their aluminum motor mounting brackets you better check them for cracks caused by fatigue. We had one motor fall off the wall and after inspecting our other three found all of them were close to breaking. Replace them with stainless brackets.
