I have been playing with the speed my spinning wands rotate on my touchless automatic. My powerrain book says the spinners should be turning at 120 RPM. I took a tach and measured the RPM and discovered they are actually turning much faster than 120 RPM, its more like 250 RPM. What is the optimum speed for cleaning or what does other manufactures suggest?

I used to have the powerains predecessor the nustar, and I always wanted the spinners to go slower, as the swivels wore out so quick. Too slow is when you notice circles on the side and it missed areas. So somewhere in between is probably optimum. I noticed they scared customers when they went too fast also.

One thing I did to prolong the life of the spinners is to reprogram the machine so the spinners are never turning unless water is flowing through them for lubrication.
