I replaced my D&S Quicksilver with a Wash World Razor the first week in May. It has malfunctioned 1 time in 12 weeks. Wash time is about 20% faster, the bay is open and inviting, virtual treadle eliminates a lot of issues and the support team is superb. The technological advances are impressive. When there is an issue, it will actually show you a picture on the display of the controller of where to look for the problem. With the high speed internet option, I am able to troubleshoot from home, get detailed wash counts and observe where the machine is and what it is doing at all times as well as observe the current status to make sure it is operational and ready for the next customer. Can also issue a wash from home.
I second all of that. We've had our washworld high velocity for 7 or 8 years now. These machines are bullet proof. And when something does go wrong, it's a very easy machine to work on. I've been able to run over to the hardware store and grab pieces an parts to either fix it for good, or at least fix it well enough to allow the machine to run until I can order the correct part. Washworlds tech support is second to none as well.
I also installed the washworld razor a year ago. It is a very dependable machine and washes quite well. I do find their wash package programming to be somewhat limited and have contacted them several times to try to get them to add a bit more flexibility so I don't waste so much water and have a little more control over the machine. It seems to fall on deaf ears though and they are not willing to make any site specific changes. What you get out of the box is what you get.
I installed a used(approx. 2001) Washworld High Velocity approx. 18 months ago. I have been very happy, we had a few bugs when first up and running, but between Washworld Tech and my installer, I have been able to make any repairs and adjustments within a day. We even had to install a gearbox and only lost 1 day. Easy to work on, great support excellent machine. Dont get me wrong if you dont know what a screwdriver is, you will need a good repair guy, but for the handy owner its a pleasure to work on!

I paid about 20k for machine and autoteller. 10k installation
my top wash is just under 5 min.
4 min 30 seconds once vehicle is in position.

You may want to check out Belanger's Kondor or Saber if you are going touch-free. They have fewer moving parts than their competitors. Plus many many other differences too. They also have automatic resetting wash arms if a vehicle would ever hit them. Unlike the other similar style manufactures which you need to go to the wash and replace the breakaway pins. They are great looking machines with their LED arms. You have the option of on board or off board dryers and also one or two arm machines to help customers center their vehicle in the bays better and also improves speed of wash. I prefer off board dryers if you have the room. Also the programming you can do on these machines are awesome you can almost do anything you want to do. In addition to, their tech support if you would ever need it is excellent. There is no need to go through a distributor for parts and tech support so you have added freedom their too.
