Rick, I tried to email you the answer to your question, but it seems I don't have a good email address for you.
If Bill doesn't mind, I will answer it here.
The prox switches that tell the gantry when it is at the end of the track will sometimes get water in them causing it to send a signal to the controller tellint it that it is at the end of the track. If both the entry and exit pros switches are on, then they tell the controller, "hey, I don't know where I am so I'll just sit here until you figure it out." The prox switches will work fine until you wash a few cars then get a little water in them and send erroneous signals to the controller. My suggestion is to change out the prox switches and cables (if you have the quick disconnect cables) and that should take care of that problem. Also, If there is a broken wire in the 12c cable (an open) the function that wire controls will not work.
Hope this helps.
