This is an option that operators should consider when rehabbing an older wash and would like to install a Visi-Combo out near the vacuum islands for high vendor sales volume. The standard refrigerated vendor pulls about 10-amps (120-volt) when the compressor is running which is pushing the limit of a 15-amp circuit with the long run out to the vac islands. It is expensive to run another heavier circuit for this amperage pull when you have concrete or blacktop to tear up. So the easier solution is to take an existing electrical circuit already installed (but using small sized electrical wire) and changing out the 120-volt circuit breaker to a 220-volt breaker. The compressor in the vendor will only draw about 5-amps on 220-volts and should run with no problems.

These 220-volt vendors are available from the manufacturer but need some lead time since they are only built to order. We use these vendors in Australia since that coultry is only on 220-volt just like Europe.

If you have any questions about this way of operating, please call or email us.
