Did the washs have similar or differenet customer income demographics?My recent survey of 5 car washes:
Sample size: 16,814 credit transactions
Tap = 66.21%
Chip = 19.16%
Mobile = 13.94%
Swipe = 0.69%
Eliminating one low-income location from the survey (where credit usage is <20% of all transactions)
Sample size: 16,599 credit transactions
Tap = 68.00%
Chip = 18.83%
Mobile = 12.66%
Swipe = 0.51%
While I admit that I’m no math wizard…
But when customers are offered credit payment options, I would consider Swipe to be nearly obsolete.
