Has anyone replaced the Super Wash touchless automatic? If so what brand and model will fit in that space? Do you have to make the opening bigger?

Do you have the fixed oval? If so, Super Wash made two different bay widths for those. We got screwed and had the 12' 9" inside width but they made one with (IIRC) 13' 9" width. There is not much out there for the narrower width that is much better than the fixed oval. D&S I5000, custom built Pro Equipment Navigator (If they are still in business). Super Wash also has a turbo nozzle upgrade for the fixed oval and it cleans so much better. It is of course still limited on length though and they put a lot of weight on the trolley with the upgrade. For the wider bay, a fair amount of touchless machines will fit with minor machine mods and install. Without a building length extension, you will be limited on vehicle wash length. The blowers will have to be freestanding outside the bay and you will most likely need new doors mounted to the outside of the building. Do you have one or two auto bays?

My wash is a 4 x 2, four self serve, two touchless automatics. I currently have their original fixed oval system. I recently purchased the Super Wash and the previous owner did a very good job maintaining the existing equipment, but never added any upgrades. I have other self serve locations so Superwash will not let me maintain the franchise. I am considering purchasing their upgraded touchless automatic system or ripping that out and going with a brand that will fit in that space. I do not know the size, but I will measure it tomorrow and get back to you. Thank you for your help.

We have purchased 2 super washes and converted them to Wash Worlds and Petits but not in the existing auto bays. What we did was actually convert the auto bays to self serves and we built on 2 new bays at the other end for the new auto bays. It was a lot of work but wasn't bad overall with some planning, and still used original floor hear boiler and even spot free.
That said, you could always convert an existing self serve bay or two to an automatic bay. We found that the existing self serve bays already had the width and height needed. Seemed weird to me that the automatic bays for super wash were very narrow and small. Hope this helps!

Gee, that would have been nice to know before now. We would probably have two of those right now. Why do you guys not have that information on your website? I don't think our distributor that sells Belanger had that info. Is this a standard machine or is it a factory custom? Are there any compromises being installed in a narrow bay?
