Folks,

I am planning on installing a backup gas wall heater in my equipment room. Wall space is minimal, and I'd like it to operate without electricity. This would be for emergency backup, in case of a winter power outage.

Can you recommend a unit that puts put 25,000-30,000btu that meets my needs?

This is what my guys are recommending. Are ventless with the ODS safe for this use. Don’t want CO poisoning: ).

Thanks!

I've got 4 washes and have them at all of them. I had the overheard forced air units and got fed up with them not coming back to life nearly every winter. The wall heaters are my primary/only source of heat in the eq room. I wish I had done it when we built the places instead of dealing with the overpriced and unnecessary electric heaters. I think I got a couple heaters at lowes and a couple at tractor supply. They are redstone and thermablaster brand.
