Shurvend steals $

my shurvend has been super reliable for the most part of its 20 years in service.

lately, it takes $ but the helix will turn very briefly and not vend. it's almost like the photo eyes are blocked so it thinks the item has vended.

i saw an old post about sunlight causing this. my machine faces south and we have had intense sun lately here in new england.

the post mentions an easy fix, but does not say what the fix is.

any ideas?

Those Shurvend machine were made by AMS vending products. Parts are pretty easy to come by. I'm thinking that you might have bad controll board.

Shade the sensors on the and that might help. Make so direct sunlight cannot stream into the photo eye.
