My SFR starts off after the pump (pump also needs replaced so opinions on a replacement are encouraged) Anyway, starts off with:
3/4” hydraulic hose that tees off at the end of the 10’ section to the automatic. Travel straight through the tee and it goes to a two solenoid block and then through to another, with hydraulic hose. The solenoids in the blocks are GC and rated for 300psi. They all leak past and I assume it’s from rust. I bought 3 24VAC solenoids and one already leaks. When I say leaks, I mean that when I turn bay 1 on SFR, SFR also comes from bay 2.
The other outlet of the aforementioned tee goes to a solenoid that opens for the automatic. And travels through about 25’ of hydraulic hose, which is nearly rusted shut and I’m sure causes check valve issues.

However..
Nearly every time I think I know better than the original installer and
try to rework things, I make it worse.

What would you guys recommend?

I know it won’t be cheap, but I think it all has to be replaced.
Thanks!!

If the pump has cast iron parts, put a cleanable strainer on the outlet. Replace everything else after it with brass barb fittings and hose rated for 250-300 PSI.
