Service/Repair Tech

I am starting a repair business based in Colorado and i am new to the business aspect of things. I am not new to the carwash world and have a pretty good understanding of the service and repair side across many different platforms and equipment types. Is there any advice anyone is willing to give on how to get in contact with wash owners or how you would go about advertising.

Website with a clear overview of your repair / services you specialize in + frictionless mechanism to get in touch with you (intake form on website, phone number, support email, etc) + word of mouth overtime = pretty lethal combo IMO

The area I live in is void of service providers for SS and IBA. Successful operators have largely learned to DIY as much as possible. But I occasionally have operators who ask for recommendations. I'll do small projects but I'm currently not interested in larger multi day projects such as installs . I wish I had someone I could refer them to.

I think in this day you likely need an online presence. Most people new to the business are going to look there first.

A forum member here has just started a website that hopefully get some traction and offers a place for service providers to list their services at no charge. Perhaps over time that will become a useful resource.

Thank you, I specialize in IBA and Self serve washes, I think the website is a great tool for getting in touch with people and i hope it gains traction as well. The self serve and IBA guys are harder to get in touch with as there is a less hands on approach and they do not have to staff someone full time. I appreciate your advice on this.
