We posted in January, 09 about the coming upgrade of the Sensit II system to the Sensit 3 system. We are happy to announce that we now have new vendors in stock with the Sensit 3 system installed.
These Sensit 3 systems do everything the Sensit II does and adds the following new features:
1. Accounting Data—Keeps track of all the cashless sales (credit card) in the vendor in a manner that is resettable after being read.
2. Couple Motors Together—One can couple adjacent motors together to vend products that are over 7.5-inches tall like a 16 oz trigger bottle lying down. The helix in the coupled motor must use a clockwise helix rather than a counter-clockwise helix which is the standard helix. (Call ShurVend to get information on this)
3. Instant Reval—Allows adding value to a Value-added card when cash is inserted into the bill validator (Wickets cards are an example)
4. Bill Validator Only--Vendor can operate with a bill validator only or a bill validator and credit card only. Product pricing must be in $1 increments.
5. Languages—Messages can be programmed into the display using a primary language and also in a secondary language. The messages will appear in the primary language first and then the secondary language.
6. Brightness of Lights—The new LED lights can be set to dim during slower sales periods to make the vendor more energy efficient.
We have already set up a machine with coupled motors for vending larger products which works very nicely. The tracking of cashless sales in the machine should be very useful also.
