Security Camera with smartphone app

Does anyone out there know of a cheap security camera with smartphone app capability? Can be black and white camera. Would pretty much be if I am in my office I can see if customers pull up. Or if at home/on the go; so I could see what's going on off of my Driod.

Don't know what you consider "Cheap"

Bought some Q See systems thru Costco.com, like the way they work, and they are smart phone compatable but have not tried this or any internet viewing feature.

Under $150 would be nice but That one set up for $250 looks pretty perfect. So my budget might have just jumped up. Thanks!

A single camera suited for the car wash environment will cost you $150. The one you must be looking at for $250 won't have recording capabilities or waterproof/weatherproof cameras.

I use "IP Cam Viewer" for my Android to view my Geovision system. It's a great little program.

For years, people on this forum would crow about how great it was to have a video system at their wash. I took the position that it didn't generate revenue, so the payback had to be high. I couldn't have been more wrong. Operationally, I couldn't do without it. The biggest drawback....I find myself "watching" my wash more than necessary. It's hard not to look !

Just a basic IP camera plugged to your web/net connection will work to give you live shot. Any browser should be able to view it...no DVR required.

However, if you want to record and other capabilities, you'll need a DVR. Most allow iPhone and some Droid capability.
