Ryko SoftGloss Maxx 5 - Color Wave

Hello Everyone: I’m using a Ryko SoftGloss Maxx 5 with a ColorWave application that’s generally performing well. We’re dispensing Carnauba wax, and water rinse during the reverse pass through through the rain bar.

However, during the drying pass, I’m still seeing a few diluted product residue and water droplets coming from the rain bar on the car, which has been frustrating. They are other passes before the dryer kicks in.

To address this, I’ve already:
- Installed check valves on both ends of the rain bar
- Inspected and cleaned the foam generator (everything looked normal)

Despite these steps, the issue persists. Is this residual dripping typical for rain bars, or is there something else I should check?

After the cycle, look closely at the manifold and see if you can determine if the residual drops are coming out of the manifold, or if they are dripping from the SS plate they roll off of onto the vehicle. If it's the manifold, you may want to try to angle it slightly so any water in the manifold will bleed out more towards one side. If you are running it really thick, that could also make it harder to drain. If the manifold isn't dropping more, it could just be water on the SS chute. You may want to make sure that is clean, or put some wax or something on it to help the water keep moving.

Never owned a ryko but it's awfully nice of you guys to come on here and help out. I think you may be the only manufacture that does.
