HI, problem started out with hot wax solenoid not getting constant 24 voltage (less than 1 sec). I don't believe the starite low pressure pump is getting power either. SFR was at that time working. Two weeks ago I got circuit break of one Q breaker that trip . since that time no 24 voltage out to SFR delivery system also but the SFR system trip my electric panel circuit panel each time. everything else works fine. the following is event history then call history.

can this be cause by a bad starite low pressure pump.

now the problem is effecting the presoak of the next wash and everything related to the the starite pump is not working.

what is symptoms of bad pump?

what does the pressure gauge go to when you run these one of these options in test mode? there is a pressure gauge at the top of the manifold that has all of the presoaks, wax, clear-coat, etc options branching off of it on the pump stand.

pressure is 50 when there is a problem. pump makes a humming noise. normally it is 250 psi. I can't select output from the outside anymore. that is broken.

Sounds to me like your not getting any water to the pump either due to the check valve prior to the Y7 solenoid or the Y7 solenoid valve is not openng. Y7 solenoid is to the left of the starite pump and the check valve is to the left and down of the solenoid on the same incoming water line.

diamond that does sound like it. You know what Dema solenoid valve I can replace with. Is it a 3/4" diaphragm NC 24V type. Or do I have to replace with Parker brand?

Lastly why would my Spot free delivery system not work and keeps tripping breaker.

thanks

Here are some pics from my pump stand as you can see I replaced the spring style check valve with a swing gate style check valve to eliminate any problems at that part. It is a Parker Solenoid Valve (Y7) if you want to you can buy them through your distributor or at Kleen-Rite, Windtrax, Car Wash Superstore just to name a few just be sure to match the volts/size/normally closed correctly. As to why your Spot Free Rinse isn't working the starite pump is not getting any or not enough water and it provides the RO or Fresh Water to the Halo on the OHD as well to your manifold that has all of your chemical solenoids branching off of it and if that's the case a pump with inadequate or no water flowing through it will eventually burn up and or trip the motor protect feature.

What did you do, take a wire wheel in an angle grinder to some fittings and solenoids before you took the pictures?

Actually yes I did they look better don't they? I almost forgot to tell you about the Solenoid valve left of the bottem of the Starite pump that allows the water to go to the halo on the OHD, I once lost my Spot Free Rinse ability and it turned out to be that Solenoid valve the rubber diaphragm inside was ripped I just replaced the inside parts (rubber diaphragm, plunger with spring) and that took care of that, not saying that's what's wrong with yours just sharing some past solutions to current problems.

Those are great pictures. I wish I can be at my wash to fix what you just said. I had to get my distributor out because my father is old and afraid to fix it. I'm out of town and started new job. Anyhow, they troubleshoot it but did not have a 3/4" valve and tried the coil of a 5/8 valve. No work. Took out diapragham and clean it. Did not work. They had to program the other valve to open when Y7 valve is open. This allow pump to at least get water. It is a quick fix until they order a 3/4" valve. with the forum I could have fix this and save 5 hr of service plus $75 drive out fee. Ouch this is going to hurt.

I guess for SFR delivery system, it is broken because it is broken and is not related to current problem. Any body know why a Dultmeiser SFR delivery system cause a breaker to trip. It only 3 yrs old with Starite pump.

Diamond you were right on target.

Is there a Solenoid valve prior to ther Starite pump on the dultmeier SFR delivery system? there should be, if that Solenoid Valve doesn't open then the pump cannot get Soft/R.O water and that pump/motor will trip causing your water to go nowhere throughout your wash to various pieces of equipment that require it. I have a Solenoid valve prior on my Ryko Rainmaker SFR Delivery system and after, I will post some pictures, it's not the same system you have but the same concept.

Here are some pictures of my setup, I need to learn how to resize these, anyway you see that I have a Solenoid valve before my starite pump and a 2 Solenoid valves after my Flotec pump(for both automatics) also if you have a pressure switch inline with the incoming water line check the contactors to be sure they aren't burnt up that in itself will cause a pump not to run.

I temp fix with a y29 valve open when y7 is supposed to open. this give fresh water to pump not hot water. Just got the bill $390. I didnot want to get rape any further. I plan to go back to carwash and fix it myself. thanks
