I currently use a sump pump style (ball on a cord) type switch to activate my ro system and maintain the storage tank level. I've used these for years without a problem but the ones I'm getting from Kleenrite seem to fail (stick on) more often than I think they should. I've been lucky to get a years use out of them.

What's working for you?

I've always used the ones from Specialty Equipment, which are blue with a yellow plastic band. They never seem to fail if there is no load on them - you might consider adding a contactor if yours has the pump running off it directly.

Ric, are you running a lot of amps through them? If so, maybe they would last longer if you used it to just energize a contactor
