Replacing/Removing old meter box stickers

Before trying to tackle this project and add CP Tap Plus to our locations, I'm researching to see the best way to remove the old sticker residue from the meter bay doors. What's your go to cleaner or process to clean them prior to adding the new stickers? Thanks in advance for your effort in responding!

We started out cleaning our old plates with goo gone, worked well.

Then after deciding to go cashless, we replaced the plate with the new vinyl and Crypto pay.

Also, we went with OFF instead of End or Stop.
