Remote temperature monitor needed

I am looking for a remote temperature monitoring device. Something that would send me an alert to my android phone when the temp. drops to a predetermined level and that I could log in and check on. I have wifi available where the "transmitter" would be placed. Any ideas?

There's a lot of different options out there depending on what you want to accomplish. I built a system using ContolByWeb components to monitor the ambient temp at the wash, and monitor the temp of the self serve wands in the bays. Then act on the temps based on certain conditions. They have an app for your phone that you can then pull in the temp readings. Not as quick and clean as using a Nest thermostat, but works for me.
