I am looking to add a stand alone remote access loudspeaker in my Self Serve car wash that I can use from my phone or tablet. It need to be clear and loud, I have tested some of the IP cameras with Audio and they are not loud enough. Not to concerned if they can talk back, just want to speak to them.

Has anyone added this and if so what are you using, cost, programing, and ease of operation?

Thanks, Jason

Mine is a stand alone PA system with speakers in each bay and on the lot. If I'm on site I have a mic I can use. Remotely it's hooked to my video system. I can watch and talk and with a second device listen to the lot and announcement. I adjust the volume at my standalone amp. Works best on wifi....less break up. When I listen I can hear if the announcement is clear. I like it cause fools know I'm watching...but typically they continue as if they can't hear or don't care.

I just started testing an ip camera (like yours I assume) at my house http://amzn.to/2fc1VND Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-I 4MP WDR I have not yet hooked up audio.... but mine also has audio i/o and an alarm i/o.

Why couldn't you just use something like this with your current ip camera? http://amzn.to/2eSD5Ho

You could keep the ip camera functionality and add amplified audio.
