Redesigned $1 Bill

I just heard, contrary to the US Treasury Website, that there will indeed be a new redesigned $1 bill. Does anybody have an official timeline?

It won't be redesigned. There will only be some security measures added to it.

What will this mean for our validators?

That I don't know for sure, but probably nothing since the print will remain the same.

There is a very good chance that you?re going to have to reprogram your validators or in a worse case scenario replace your validators depending on which one you?re using now. The last information I got was it is suppose to hit the street around Thanksgiving.
