Receipt printer

So how important is a receipt printer on an acw? If I have one on one auto is it less important on the second one? Looking for opinions. Thanks

I don't have an ACW but I can say that the printer on our ATM has worked flawlessly for about 29 months now. But then it is in a dry more room temperature area within our adjacent laundromat. We are not talking the same machines but on the ATM like Sam's Club gas pumps it give the customer the option to print or not to print a receipt. Based on that limited oranges to apples experience ... I would say that there is a percentage of customers who would prefer to be able to get a receipt not only on the ACW but possibly from in bay card swipes. Theoretically, there could be 2 car washes in the same vicinity ... one offers the option of receipts ... one not ... & possibly it could negatively affect the total revenue stream for the one who does not have that option.

I have one on my other machine but I can put in an acw 4 or 5 for a lot less and I get find one quickly. Finding a used one with a printer is a little more difficult.

I wouldnt have an entry unit without a receipt printer. We get a lot of commercial customers at our washes and they are quick to call looking for a receipt if our printer goes offline. They need it to claim on their expenses.
I'm afraid if I had machines that didnt produce receipts, they would find a competitors wash that does.......

Decided to stick with the Goldline. I'll need to add the printer (at a ridiculous price I might add) but I think I'll be glad in the long run.
Thanks

For what it is worth we have a lot of commercial customers who need the receipt as well. Good choice to go with the printer.
