I have been making my own hi pressure hose that goes through the long E-Chain on the wall. It seems the failure of this hose is always the hose rubbing through from one of the E-chain cross members. I have been using the nylon spiral wrap around the hose which is what the machine came with. Has anyone tried the nylon, or Kevlar hose protector braided sleeves.? If so do you have any comparison if they hold up any better than the spiral wrap?

Do you have an open or closed igus? What kind of hose are you using? How long is it currently lasting for car count?
Its the igus with the aluminum cross bars, I use 2 wire gates high pressure hose, I really don't keep track of car count but I seem to replace the hose about twice a year at least.
