Looking for some expertise here.

I inquired to Hamilton about the Reto-Fit CC Kit and they want $2570 per kit without install. Also, we were told that there is no wireless router option and that we had to run phone lines to transmit the data.

Summary: In order to update two autowash bays to accept credit cards the project cost will be about $7,500 by the time it is all said and done.

That seems steep. Two questions:

What are my other options?

Is it worth it if there are no other options?

Thanks in advance for you help.

From my experience, yes it is worth it, but it is more of a service than a money maker. If your competition has it, you gotta get it. I know of no other options, but there may be some. Yes that is steep. Only way to chage that is the installation. If you can drill a 1/2 inch hole in your door you can do it youself. Also, you can just use two spare wires for the phone line. Nothing to the download which they (Hamilton) want you to do yourself anyway. You will also have two new controllers, but not much of a market for the old ones that I know of. Good luck. Mitch
