Why are automatics always located at the end bay, why is it you never see a site with self serve then and auto and more self serve on the other side? Is it just for looks or is there a reason behind it.

I had my IBA in Bay 3, right next to the equipment rm, traffic flow is probably the main factor, but prox to power and equip rm, is a big factor too.

End bay is typicaly furthest from the entrance drive gives max stacking room.

If the auto were in a middle bay and cars were stacked up, you would have self serve customers walking through the stack line.

All of the above. You especially do not want self serve customers walking through or in front of cars that may move. Another consideration is SS customers getting hit with over spray from the Auto
