Is there such a thing as a completely rust-proof standard air chuck? I've bought all brass ones thinking they wouldn't rust, but the valve spring and balls inside were steel and wouldn't separate after a couple years.

McMaster.com has some listings ... maybe they would respond to an message inquiring if the spring and ball are stainless?

A couple of years My Air machine wire braid hoses and chucks are pretty trashed beat up at bout 2 years and need to be replaced, So, I never had an issue with rust issues because they don't last that long.

I have need of some air chucks that will be stationary for years. I've seen this a few times, and when they aren't ever handled they always rust up and can't be disconnected or leak badly when re-connected.

I did, they're a lot more expensive than air chucks, but it would work for what I need. I already use them in the bays to hook up my washdown hose. They're brass but they hold up well. I had gotten some all stainless ones that weren't all stainless and rusted in the bays, so I know which ones NOT to use.

Parker S23 looks like it might be the one. You'd have to get it from a distributor but it does look available
