Pump Drive Fault

This is a 2 arm saber, first fault pump drive, reset then shorty after pump drive fault an drive com fault. So I opened the MCC panel the pump drive F700 smell burnt . So do I start testing the pump motor wires ? Something got hot ? Very thankful for your Support.

It will do that if it gets hot. It wouldn't hurt to leave the cabinet open with a fan blowing in it. Also make sure the pressure isn't getting too high.

Belanger didn't design the vfd cabinets right on the saber, that's for sure. Way too small nema 4x cabinet sealed with no ventilation and running 4 drives. Check the drive and see if it says fn. That is a fan error which tries to keep it cool. I have piped in conduit on the sides high and low with turn down elbows to keep water from coming in, then powered air through the cabinet with fans that mounted to the 3 inch conduit. If you have the fan error, you need to replace the integrated fan for the drive. But it may be too late...

Pressure or pump speed ? Thank you both the VFD reads E.Uur an will not reset . That's a good idea for the hole an down tube. I mentioned cutting holes to the installer 7 years a go he just look funny at me. I thinks it's toast. I lost a carriage drive on this bay years before a wire in the bay rubbed though. Burned it out when I reset it.
