My Hamilton autocashier will still take customers money after the spay arch has been hit and the machine is disabled. The read out will say car wash closed, but they won`t read that and will put their money in and loose it then call me. At that time I`m either on the road or trying to get my re-set guy over there. Until recently when it said car wash closed it wouldn`t take any money. I have two Hamilton changers with Mars validators and if there is a hopper jamb the light will come on but it will still take the customers money. One of these is a DRS and one side will shut down as it should and the other side will not. The other changer is a ER 60. I`m hoping for a solution short of changing the controllers at $400 dollars each. Any ideas?

It's likely a setting on the validator - if it's set for always enable, it will do that.

To make sure it's not the controller (and I doubt it is) swap them on the DRS.

I checked the setting on the validators today and they are all in the off position which is "harness enable". I sure was hoping you were right.
