I bought two self serve washes each with 6 bays last June.
The previous owners had pricing set at 2.50 for 4 minutes, and 3.50 for 8 minutes in the extended time bays. These are currently cash only. We charge 1.00 for 5 minutes on the Vacs.
I am located in Michigan. Interested to hear what other owners charge and if this is on par with the rest of the country or not.
I plan to add debit card machines soon. Leaning towards Nayax or Monex. Interested to hear from some more experienced owners on this topic as well.
I jumped in head first and am learning alot of lessons the hard way.
However, I still do not regret the purchase.

In Michigan as well. Currently $2 for 4 mins $3 min for cc use. $0.75 on vacs for 4 mins but upping it to $1 here very soon. I give no bonus time and there are 3 other self serves right around me. i have tripled my business over the last year and they are all half my price. i would leave it at the 2.50 for 4 and dump the bonus time. (im sure alot will disagree) but 2.50 is pretty good. i think for 4 mins in MI.

I use Crypto pay. pretty simple to use and have had 0 issues over the last year since install.

if your customers are paying five dollars for a wash I bet they'll pay two for a vac.

Vacs are next haven’t had a second to change them. I’ve been at 1.75 for 12 years

What is happening on a National level has little do with what your pricing should be. What is your competition charging? Can you justify being higher priced than them? Should you match them or be a slightly better value?
