I would like to get an idea of what everybody charges for your wash and what options you offer for each? Also, what brand of IBA do you have? I'm looking to possibly change my menu around to make it more appealing.

Here is a follow-up question:

Cheapest wash - Dry? or, No Dry...

I see the responses above do not offer dryer on the lower washes. Are customers OK with that?

I think the dryer should definitely be a buy up option. I only offer it on my top two washes.

My Vector prices were 4,5,6- Until today. I had looked at this post and considered a $3 wash -No dry. But most of the washes i sell were the top washes and maybe 25% the cheap wash, So I moved them all down one notch on WS11 and decided to experiment with an ultimate wash- more Rain X -double butterfly and more rocker blaster. Now I am at $4,5,6,8. I had just finished programming it and my next three washes were the $8 wash. They all loved it. I think we should all look to offer our best washes to our customers, I think everyone should try the high road.

$7 hi ph pass, hi press rinse, sfr no dry
$8 underbody, 2 presoaks, hi press rinse, wax, blow dry
$9 adds another sealant plus sfr
$10 adds foamy conditioner.

Side note: I am reconfiguring my washes and pricing this month. Thinking of actually LOWERING my base wash to $6 while ADDING a second presoak and maybe even a wax pass. I will offer $8, $10 and ******$12***** above this; $12 is a premium wash, a full 7 passes plus blowers, and underbody. Just have to decide what to add???? Maybe a second hi-ph pass.

My %age of my top wash is high enough to justify the $12. Hey, it'll be an experiment! We'll see how it goes.

My thinking for the $6 wash is to get those who want a real good value hooked on the IBA; maybe convert some customers from ss to IBA, while building loyalty by offering a darn good low-cost package>:D
