I have a bay that the pre-soak function does not shut off. I have a Dixmor timer in the bay. I think I have eliminated that as a cause by plugging a different timer in and get the same result. The pre-soak indicator light stays on in the panel above the pump and the solenoids for the air and chemical for the pre-soak say open. No other function works on the bay. No wiring has been changed or disturbed. I was wondering if it is likely this GinSan controller or timer above the pump? The only way I have found to shut it off is the breaker for the bay.

Try swapping the meterbox doors between bays to see if it's on the door. If it's not, I assume by timer above the pump you mean the GS23 Hourmaster. Those are not timers. They were just a time monitor for functions and don't control anything. You can just unplug it. If you still have the issue, your presoak wire is shorting to metal somewhere from the bay to the solenoids.

Thank you Dan I will try that.
