Powder vs Liquid for Wand Hi Pressure Soap?

mjwalsh

6 bay SS w/laundromat
For about 30 years now, we have used Specialty Equipment's automatic pH level powder mixer where it mixes small amounts of powder into liquid as needed in a small tank for gravity feed (some suction) to our Cat 310s. It seems like every few years we have to thoroughly clean out tiny amounts of soap scum in the soap tubing, valves, solenoid valves etc. It is not too hard to convert to liquid with dema or hydrominder with the proper tip etc.

For those who have used both powder & liquid ... is it more likely in general that the liquid will leave less or possibly no scum? I know it would depend some on the specific powder & specific liquid ... but like I asked ... is there a general observation that liquid with a Dema or a Hydrominder is more likely to not leave any clogging?

I use KR Low PH for my SS HP. I do not clean the lines. Every once in a while due to foaming in the mixing tank as bubbles burst they leave some residue and I have to clean the tank. In the Tunnels which get much more useage i clan the foamer foaming media about once a year. That's it.
