I've had 4 failures on polybraid hoses this summer and I am starting to wonder the cause.
1st was a one inch hose that has city water pressure and supplies the touchfree.
2nd was 3/4 inch that runs spot free to the Profile. Approximately 150-200psi. This one may be on me for asking to much of the pressure rating.
3rd and 4th were 1/2 hose for the touch free that run at about 200 psi. Hose is rated at 250.
All of the hose is kuriyama from kleenrite purchased 3 or so years ago.
All failures were at a bend or close to the barb and were substantial leaks but not total blowouts.
We've had a lot of heat and I assume that has contributed, but I've got other polybraid hose that has been in service for 15 plus years.
Wondering if I got a bad batch or if I am expecting too much.

Have had issues with heat causing failure but never considered brand specific issues.

I’ve always had poor luck with poly braid. Typically failure near joints. Lines tend to harden.

I’ve always had better luck with rubber hose
