OK, how much should it cost me to upgrade my LW4000's to virtual treadle? I mean with the Virtual treadle and installation. How about the Laserminder? With installation? I know a lot of you are dealer and installers and know a lot more about what this should cost.

I think my dealer had an opportunity to get a couple of used virtual treadles but wanted wayyyy too much for installation.

What should it cost me? Retail if I cannot find a used virutal treadle or two?

The laserminder upgrade involves a software upgrade, and some hardware on the arch. A educated guess is 2 hrs labor. (no drive time included)(assuming no issues with arch)

The VT upgrade is a much bigger job. You have to remove all old floor steel, install and wire VT controller in JO, Side sonics, Loading eyes, Electrical box in bay, and plus electrcians new conduits runs.

I would throw out an estimate of 8-12 hours of a good knowlagable techs time. PLUS electrician time for pulling wires and conduit runs. (again no drive time)

Hope this helps.

Mike
