Has anyone every had this issue? We have talked to tech support, and they are perplexed. Any thoughts or guidance on this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. It doesn't happen all the time, maybe once every 25-100 washes. Then once it happens it tends to be more frequent. We reset the wash and the access unit, and then we are good to go for a while.

I had a similar issue on my markvii touchless. It was a loose prox switch on the treadle plate. it was annoying as it was infrequent and hard to figure out. Depending how the vehicle pulled on the treadle it sometimes didn’t make contact.…
…....good luck….and please share the fix!!!

If always happens with a certain wash package, bad cable or bad relay.
If issue shows up with any package, could be a bad proximity sensor or sensor that triggers the back up is blocked (dirty), so the CPU does not activates the wash because is reading that there is still a car in there.

Do you have your CAT 5 plugged into LAN port #1 on both units? Those are specifically for network or Access/PDQ CW communication. They will work on the others, but have seen on a few occasions where plugging into any other port will cause intermittent issues.

If it was an issue with the wash, it would take the Access out of service since both are PDQ's.
