All,
Now that the cold has set in, I am having a problem with the Under-Body-Flush ultrasonics on my M5. Intermittently, they are prematurely starting my Under-Body-Flush before the car reaches it. This happens when its coldish and the steam seems to trigger them. I am trying to keep the washbay warmer (between 55 and 60F) so the doors don't freeze. Seems to be OK if I keep the washbay below 50F. Nothing aside from gentle cleaning and calibating has been performed since install. They are about 5 years old.
Is this a sign that the ultrasonics are getting tired and need replacing?
