We have a PDQ Laserwash 360 paired with a Hamilton Commander pay station in two of our wash locations. In both locations if the wash gets aborted (most often from an arch impact) and there is a second customer queued in line that has already paid, the PDQ aborts the wash that is in process, kicks the car out of the wash, and 'takes' the next wash that has been paid for. The customer that has paid isn't given any explanation as to why their wash isn't starting. I always get a phone call and either have to start the wash from my phone or issue a refund/wash pass if they pay twice. We have had PDQ and Hamilton both research the issue and of course both of them say it must be the other company's issue. We have called our PDQ district rep and asked them to dig into the issue and we haven't heard back. I am sure they haven't come up with an answer.
We are not IT people but I can only imagine this has to be a sequence (coding) issue within one of the systems or with how the two systems communicate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
