I have seen a new trend gaining momentum: people wearing their pajamas out in public.
It is unacceptable and should not be confused with 'casual dress'. It displays laziness. It tells the world 'I give up'.
I am not sure when it became socially acceptable to wear one's p.j.'s out in public, but it must stop. Unless you are in my family or a guest in my house or we happen to be going to the ice machine at the same time while staying at the Marriott, I do not want to see you in your pajamas. Lets keep pajamas private.
I am fairly certain that folks on a carwash forum are the hard-working type who wear blue jeans and work boots to the store, so I am probably not talking about you. Heck, you're probably like me and only wear sweats outside the home if you are on your way to or from the gym or YMCA.
Please, I am begging you, if you have friends or family who see pajama wearing outdoors and in public as a socially-acceptable behavior, ask them to change their ways.
We need to turn the tide around here and end the wearing of pajamas in public and we need to start today.
Who's with me?
