Old Super Wash

Just posting a few pics of an old Super Wash for those of you that may have owned, operated or renovated one of these things,for memory sake. This is how it sits as of today. Has been shut down for over a decade, and was run down by then. Most of the equipment has been removed and some tweakers broke in last year and stole all the copper pipe out of the equipment room.

I will be renting it from the owners. This was a 3 bay ss with one automatic. The current owners converted one ss bay on the very end into a water dispensing business and the rest of the building is not used. They have separate water and sewer. I will be refurnishing whats left of the carwash granted the city permits me to. Currently waiting for the city to approve me. Ill have the automatic door ways cut open to match the size of the self serve doors and then convert it to another self serve.

Is that auto bay wide enough to be used as a self serve bay?

Barely. It's 12ft 9inches wide I believe. Not the most ideal but it's better than sitting empty.

That's how wide our two Super Wash auto bays were. We razed them and built one huge bay in their place. Almost no automatic would fit in it and the ones that did were a compromise on vehicle size.
