We asked for input from Forum members and studied both a Vend-Master & Vend-It unit in-house before we designed and built our ShurVend Half-Pint vendor to incorporate the Forum member inputs and overcome the flaws that have been posted on the Forum. We have utilized established technology to build a unit that has ?Guaranteed Delivery? as a unique feature in a small vendor.
The used Vend-Master/Vend-It units are like trading in a Yugo; we do not have a use for them. But the existing bill validator and coin changer in your Vend-Master/Vend-It may be a usable MDB** version (worth about $600-$700) which we can install in our Half-Pint small vendor, frontload (FL) or rearload (RL). We realize that all of you have invested considerably more into your Vend-Master/Vend-It units than what we can offer you, but technology makes older equipment obsolete very quickly. At least you can recover some costs while changing to a new unit with credit card capability, less work ?tweaking? product packaging, and gaining peace of mind about your vending.
Here is our offer for direct sales to Vend-Master/Vend-It owners: We will install your working MDB bill validator and coin changer (which you send to us from your existing Vend-Master/Vend-It unit) into a new ShurVend Half-Pint FL or RL unit. We will cut a narrow, precision slot into the stainless door to install your bill validator so we can maintain our Half-Pint?s Hi-Security features. In addition we will give you a cash allowance of $500 off our list price for the front load or rear load vendors.
