Hi Gohlman,

I have an XP here in Southern California. Now have more than 10,000 washes on it and a little over a year of service. No wand extend faults...

Your lucky, yours is a newer model with the update already on it. No more potentiometer, using 4 prox's instead, on the adjustable wand.

You are right, mine does not have the pots on it and has the quad prox sensors. Seem to be very reliable.

Lucky you guys are...mine was one of the last to have the pot setup.....been really reliable up until the last week and then all heck broke loose...didnt hit any cars but couldnt control the turn on the rear....Oasis is going to replace the complete actuator and I am going to install the 4 prox tree....guess after 20 months and 30,000 cars I would have to do something to it....been very reliable. Good factory support techs.

Got er done.....now have the new prox tree and what a difference....runs like a sewing machine........thanks for all the info on the subject.....the new program downloaded is an improvement also......
