No 24 volts

If you indeed caused it, it is most likely a short on the 24 DC side of things. Check the power cable where the hose was replaced for chafing and a possible short. If you can't find it there you must systematically search for the area causing the short. It can be any 24Dc input sensor in the system, or a wire going to it.

By disconnecting the comm cable that is screwed in the lower left side of the ECC, you can isolate if the problem is coming from the gantry or floor eyes.

I guess I should continue. If the power comes back when you disconnect the plug, the problem is going to or in the gantry. Disconnect the 24 DC on the terminal strip inside the gantry control box and see if the red lion comes back up. If not the the problem lies in the power cable going to the gantry. If it does come back, it is likely a sensor (prox, eye, or cable going to it) and you will have to disconnect each one at a time until the power comes back up. Replace the offending part.

Sometimes the problem with the comm cable can be intermittent and might work, but short in certain positions.

The power did come back on after disconnecting the cable, the problem was in the gantry, drivers side, profiling emitter, second from top was shorted! Glad the power supply didnt get fried!

They have that safety overload feature that shuts them down. It's a little unnerving the first time you come in and see the red lion screen blacked out though :)
