Newbie help

I'm in north central Montana. Does anyone have recommendations on starter kit supplies? I'm currently extra small, just cleaning vehicles in my driveway but I admit I have no real experience yet and just doing small jobs on the side. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I found a good selection of basic detailing supplies at Harbor freight tools recently. If you have one of those stores near you, try them. Also, a lot of Auto Parts stores are now carrying some good chemicals and supplies so those are worth a shot too. out my way in New England we have Napa, advanced Auto Parts and O'Reillys. they all have good detailing sections

Thank you Waxman. It was recommended to me to look for your threads from Mudmoney. I appreciate the advice.

maybe watch some detailing videos on YouTube. You can get a good idea of the equipment that you will need and the chemicals and supplies also. For my shop, the carpet extractor the powerful car wash vacuums and the steam cleaning machine are essential in what we do on a daily basis. We use a good general purpose cleaner, a carpet and upholstery spotter, a liquid glass cleaner, collinite 476s paste wax, vinyl and leather conditioner, in a spray bottle and a cream and various other solvents and chemicals to accomplish the cleaning. The clay bar is also critical, IMO, to get a smooth paint finish to apply the wax to. You can private message me if you have any specific questions beyond these things. Good luck.
