new trifoam system

We have a D/H system that works the same and we have the guns from Etowah Valley. Something that concerns me is the $400 price of the gun/hose assembly and that they do not sell just the hose when it goes bad. We put them in use October 2024 and several have the clear outside hose covering damaged already. I thought they would last longer but they do get used a lot. I'm going to take one apart to see if I can replace the hose on it. When we were at the Nashville show, I found several vendors there that have 1/4" triple fused hoses that should work.

I don't know how they have that thing bonded at both ends, but I was curious and did a little googling. I didn't know what that type of tubing was called but it's called bonded tubing.

I believe the hose they use now is new and improved if I recall from their literature. I'll post some pictures of everything later on when it's installed. Here's a few pictures of the unit and my old one and where it's going in my wash.

Is that what a tri foam system is supposed to look like when dialed in 100%?

I only ask because my system looks like this ( actually even closer after I ran 3/8 chem hose from the solenoid out to the manifold in the trough ).

I'm still not happy with mine but I'm not spending the $6K to look the same. I was hoping for a constant, steady fan of foam.

This is what I'm after :

I’m going to try some different chemicals tomorrow or Monday. We may need to add formers. I love the quality of the pump station, guns and hoses. The application needs to be foamier. Waxman is using the same tri-foam chemical here that we use in the Razors. Looks great for that use.
We’ll get it dialed in soon

For sure, the pump stations work of art and I wouldn't mind freeing up some floor space putting it on the wall, but I'm determined to get mine at least work better. I always read that. The foam generators weren't necessary in the tri foam. Do people still use them? My system never had generators but maybe I should try adding them.

it's not dialed in yet. we just installed the new etowah valley system today. i wanted to try my razor foam chems because i was trying for a red white and blue effect, but i think the chems for ss foam will work better. i don't think foamers will be necessary. i think i will try yellow in place of white, but i don't really dig the yellow too much because i feel it can over power the other 2 colors.

so, all this to say; it'll be a process to get it dialed in, like with most new systems i have added over the years. my initial impression is that etowah valley really nailed it with this system. the 3 colors at once and with a steady stream and not sputtery is pretty impressive. the quality of the equipment is great.
