my remodel seemed to take forever, but the results are worth it. I'm testing cars now and really loving the results. I also love the short wash time compared to my old equipment. WashWorld did an amazing job Designing and manufacturing this machine and Autowash Maintenance from Malden Massachusetts did an equally amazing job at installing the equipment and making sure everything was just right before I started testing cars.

$16,18,20,22. similar to my friction competitors.

top wash has u/c, 2 pass alkaline presoak, salt neutralizer pass, tri foam, ceramic coat, hot wax, dry. All in under 6 minutes. Superior Side Trac was 8+ minutes per wash.

Glad you got it in and working. I know you have been planning it for a long time. You are getting double the price I get through my touchless washes but in your market I think you have to. Looks real nice. Hope your chemicals are still cleaning well for you.

Thanks!!!

Yes; I went with my distributor's chemical line. Presoak is called Select Plus and the cars so far are very clean, shiny and dry. They will come back to do a cost per car analysis.

I did remove the stainless steel plate for my hot wax 'curtain effect'. I don't want to have anything to fiddle with too much and the hot wax looks just great with the rain bar effect.

Very excited for you and look forward to hearing your comments on your Razor's wash quality. We will be starting construction on a new bay and Razor install hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Our new Razor has already arrived and is sitting in a storage container on our site. Can't wait to open that big box!

Just to compare, would you mind taking a picture of your top wash package programming and posting. Im thinking about changing the programming of mine to see if i can speed things up a bit. What chemicals are you using?

Waxman-
I was reading your posts on this forum long before I became a member and I know you built your wash on a modest budget, but I also know you maintained your equipment, offered an excellent product and customer service, and reinvested into your business. And now you have a state-of-the-art machine and an awesome looking facility. Your customers will love this. Your bay interior also looks fantastic - awesome work on the wall and ceiling panels.

Congratulations- and best of luck to you!

I like the way the machine can apply a product front to rear then start rinsing at the rear.
For sure, saves alot of time. thats where im at now is what can i do to trim time back, I have the Hyperflex option on mine but have never used it, im going to try to create, packages to apply 2 chems in the same pass. We optioned it with the hyperflex so if something went out we could easily switch to the hyperflex for application but i dont think im truly utilizing what its capabilites are. Oh you do realize that on your package # 3 you're running 3 HPR passes back to back to back, id trim 1 of the Arch pass out, or if you wanted to leave it in there increase the speed on the 3 passes.

Surprised you are using a single pH approach in MA. Guessing a Lo pH / Lo PH for the first two passes given the Salt and road dirt in MA?

I use hp rinse on conserve mode as finsl rinse. Works great.
How does that work? Does the dryer blow everything off completely so no minerals are left to spot? It seems like the SFR water just smears back and forth with the sway of my dryers. The harder or more mineral rich water would blow and roll off better with the higher surface tension? I’m just trying to learn. Your car wash looks amazing!

My new 8 week old Razor Edge is doing great to. On that top pkg of your's, you gotta be making 10x cost!!!
My top pkg is,similar, but 2 passes of SFR @ end. Mine is about $2, but top pkg is $13!!! Next 2 are $11 & $9. Im using Warsaw, & they're very good, especially the Wonder + PS ( It's pretty hot, & i put it on pretty thick).
Old LW360 was $7,$8,$9,$10. Now just 3 pkgs. Smart move.

Medium or high pressure rinses really help to break the water after drying agents and sealers. This is good if you have some time until the blower - as is the case with a drive through. Rain arches seem to work best if there is a flash dry that keeps the water moving - like in a tunnels or an IBA that has onboard blowers and offers a flash dry option.
