We were getting reports of vandalism on our older high security designs, so we had to step up and build a better product. We are doing some more work on making the the security of our vendors more robust for those car washes in those "difficult" areas that are having continual problems with vandalism on their equipment. We have added five (5) horizontal bars across the window spaced so the customer still has a clear view of the products in the machine. We have had two vendors with these bars out in the real world at two different washes for about two years with no problems with vandalism that we know about. We installed these machines ourselves in these washes and I can tell you that these were "difficult" locations for a vendor. We think this design is working well so an operator can purchase any high security ShurVend model, install it in the vacuum area of a wash site, and feel assured that the vendor will produce product sales without having to worry about any vandalism. Operators should make a high security ShurVend machine part of any upgrade to an existing wash; there is money to be made by doing it!!
