I have been using the new ICHECK MAGNUM check valve at my (2) bay M5 Laser, corrosion proof and NO O-Ring, absolutely trouble free and built like a tank.

What a relief that someone has made a product to stand up to the rigors of the wash business. Several places are now selling them or they have a website that I found. www.kedinnovations.com

Rhondo, thanks for the tip on the check valve. Glad you took the time to point out this new product.

SW Indiana melon fields.
looks like an advertisement to me.
Don't think so PLJ. Evidently you didn't see it earlier. MEP jumped on him, probably unjustly, and he defended himself. Bill deleted their back and forth posts, so I assume that Bill is sold on the fact that this guy doesn't have an agenda. I think he's ok.

I wouldn't have a problem being wrong, but you have to admit there's been a lot of spam lately, and even assuming the post is not from someone associated with the company it's still an unsolicited "advertisement."

If he found a new/better item, its a good thing for all of us to find out about it. We can't find the best deal/product by ourselves.

When in doubt, email me first, before you "jump", if its porn or a "real" ad still email me as I check it more often than the post.

Spam or no spam...I'm always interested in better parts. It seems many of these type parts are made to fail...and fail too frequently.

I too am interested in any good new part. Let's hope this is true because a good check valve is really needed.

I just ordered one. These checks have a warranty so says the distributor! I couldn't find any info about the warranty on their website, but that says alot if they actually do. American Pride at $249 was the cheapest I could find by itself. The Harrell's folks will sell one a little more, but throw in the 1/2" version for free. The 1/2" checks on lasers are pretty reliable, so I'll just continue to use standard brass checks there for around $12-$15. American Pride says they just started carrying them a week or two ago, so we'll see if the price is justifiable. Now if someone could find better pdq 'made to break' gearboxes, swivels, and a few other items...I could go out of town again and actually relax a little.

Raisetheprice: switch your gearbox oil to Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90 synthetic extreme pressure lubricant and you will significantly reduce your gearbox problems.
