What would you do if a customer fell at your carwash? Do you contact your insurance company right away or do you wait until you hear from that customer? Thanks for your input!
As Waxman said, call your agent and give him/her a heads up on what happened. They will more than likely tell you not to do anything until contacted by the customer and if/when the customer contacts you, refer them to your insurance co. Good Luck!
Happened to me a few years ago. Customer slipped on ice. He said he wanted me to pay for any medical expenses and eluded to further compensation. He wrote me a long letter threatening me with a local ambulance chaser. Seriously ****ed me off. I called my insurance agent and they contacted him. They informed him that it had been below freezing for three days at the time of the incident and that water freezes, forms ice and can become slippery and that they did not think he stood a chance. I guess it worked, because we never heard from him again. good luck.
