Buying Groups. If you're a multisite operator you should consider joining the N1 Buying Group. We joined last year at the last ICA show. Annual membership is $3,500 and if you are buying from any of the participating members, who typically pay back to the group a 5% rebate, it should more than pay for itself. We operate 22 locations and got back $20k for 2018. Simoniz participates and for example you would still order from Simoniz and negotiate your own pricing but you pay the buying group and the buying group guarantees payment to Simoniz. Reduced risk for the vendor and the vendor gets attention from the buying group members in the form of new business. It's a way to leverage our collective buying power to earn another 5% and the guys running it are top notch. It's a no-brainer. Here's the list of current participating vendors and membership information. https://www.n1buyinggroup.com

If you are purchasing $400K in chemicals a year you should be able to negotiate better prices than anyone in this forum....Interesting concept however I doubt most of the forum members purchase enough chemicals to cover the $3500 annual membership.

We also bought a set of water softeners and Micrologic (our point of sale provider) is joining. Yes you have to buy at least $70,000 from a single or a combination of participating vendors approximately to break even.
